Make a Difference: Thames River Family Program

WHO: A single mother of five children.

AGENCY: Thames River Family Program in Norwich

THEIR SITUATION: A survivor of domestic violence and homelessness, this mother entered TRFP to gain life skills, empowerment and self-esteem. She had two surgeries in the past six months that have prevented her from working. She has recently transitioned to permanent affordable housing.

WHAT TO GIVE: Clothing girls size 9/10, 7/8, junior size 8, and boys size 14-16, Barbie, children movies, Pokeman and gift cards.
