Quaker Hill resident honored as Santander Soccer Scholar

Daniel Girard of Quaker Hill was recognized last month at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts for his academic and athletic achievements as part of the Santander Soccer Scholars program. Girard had the opportunity to visit with New England Revolution players on July 29 and watch the game from the sidelines.

Applications for the next group of Santander Soccer Scholars are open until Oct. 5. For more information, visit revolutionsoccer.net/santander-soccer-scholars.
