Bob and Barbara Magowan Hoops, of Mystic, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Bob and Barbara were married May 27, 1950.

Bob served with the Army Air Force after graduating from high school and is retired from Local 15 Ironworkers of Hartford.  Barbara retired as a church secretary.

Bob and Barbara are celebrating with their two daughters, Christine Clemenzi and her husband John and their son Benjamin; Jan Snape and her husband Barry and their son Nathan and his wife Maggie and daughter Jaime and the copules two sons, Robert Hoops and his wife Linda and their daughter Jess and son Jason and Peter Hoops and his wife Ani and their sons Peter and Harrison and daughter Gabi.

Mom and Dad, Grammy and Grampy, you taught us a lot about the power of commitment and the importance of family. We have been so blessed and so loved. Thank you!
