Fire at New Jersey apartment complex displaces hundreds

Smoke rises as firefighters hose water onto an apartment complex the Thursday morning in Edgewater, N.J. Officials said workers at The Avalon at Edgewater across the Hudson River from New York City accidentally started the fire, which caused massive damage and displaced more than 1,000 people. Two civilians and two firefighters sustained minor injuries.
