Old Saybrook — Hartford police on Wednesday located both of the cars that were stolen overnight in Old Saybrook, according to police.

Police said the suspects accused of stealing the two vehicles engaged Hartford police in two separate pursuits on Wednesday.

According to police, both vehicles crashed while being pursued.

Hartford police, working with other police departments, apprehended several suspects and are searching for additional suspects, according to Old Saybrook police.

Police said the investigation still is active and did not release any of the suspects' names.

Police previously said one of the cars was stolen from the Floral Park area, while the other was stolen from the Indian Town area.

Several unlocked cars also were entered into overnight.

In addition, police said they recovered a stolen car from Hebron overnight.
