Silver Alert issued for 14-year-old New London girl

New London — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a girl categorized as an "endangered runaway."

Mariana Fermin, 14, is described as a white girl with black hair and brown eyes who stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds.

According to police, Fermin was last seen Thursday wearing blue jeans and a light blue shirt with flowers on it.

Police did not provide a photo of Fermin.
