Norwich — Police said a male victim was taken to the hospital Monday with a non-life threatening stab wound, following a reported fight on Franklin Street. 

Police said they found the victim with a stab wound after receiving a report around noon of a fight near 99 Franklin St. A second caller had reported that a person was stabbed during the fight, police said. 

The victim was taken to the William W. Backus Hospital by American Ambulance, according to the police report.

Police said no further information is being released at this time and the incident is under investigation.
