Police: Suspect arrested in $50,000 diamond theft case

TAUNTON, Mass. (AP) — Authorities in Bristol County have arrested a suspect in connection with the theft of a $50,000 diamond from a mall.
WCVB-TV reports that the diamond was stolen from Hannoush Jewelers at the Galeria Mall in Taunton Monday. Police say they have arrested a man in connection with the robbery.
Authorities have not identified the suspect.
Investigators say the diamond has not been recovered.
