UConn's Ollie adds another Class of 2017 basketball recruit

    ...

UConn coach Kevin Ollie has struck gold again on the recruiting trail.

Tyler Polley, a versatile 6-foot-7, 190-pound forward from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is the latest recruit to commit to the Huskies and third member of the Class of 2017 in the fold. He announced his decision on Tuesday.

It's been a successful month for Ollie, who also received verbal commitment from 6-9 center Josh Carlton and 6-2 point guard Makai Ashton-Langford.

On his twitter account, Polley, who attends Sagemont School in Weston, Fla., thanked the college coaches that recruited him. He made his decision after visiting Tennessee last weekend. Dayton, Pittsburgh and Oklahoma State also were in his top five.

Polley, a four-star recruit, visited UConn on Sept. 3.

"My decision to play basketball on the next level was one of the toughest decisions I've ever made but I'm elated to announce that I will be continuing my education and basketball career at UCONN with Coach Ollie and his incredible coaching staff!" Polley wrote.
