    Noteworthy: UConn coach Geno Auriemma said Nurse was likely to start for the first time Saturday after missing the last four games with a stress reaction in her right ankle. That would move freshman guard Crystal Dangerfield back to her role coming off the bench. Nurse was a second team All-AAC pick who was averaging 31.8 minutes per game. The game at Tulane on Feb. 18 was the first game Nurse missed in her college career and the Huskies held on for a 63-60 victory. “I don't know how many minutes (she'll play) … then we've got a long time to rest after Monday,” Auriemma said of the break between the league and NCAA tournaments. “She keeps letting me know it's getting better and better.” … Hughes led Tulsa in the victory over Memphis with 12 points and Wakefield had 11. Elliott had nine points and 13 rebounds. The game was tied 43-43 with 4:59 remaining before Liesl Spoerl's 3-pointer gave the Golden Hurricane the lead for good. Tulsa led 20-14 at halftime. … UConn beat Tulsa twice during the regular season, 98-58 at Tulsa on Jan. 17 and 96-50 at Gampel Pavilion on Feb. 5. Samuelson scored 34 in the first game of the series with seven 3-point field goals. In the second game, the Huskies had their entire starting five in double figures, including Collier with 24. … Of Tulsa's 20 losses this season, 11 were single digits, including eight games by two baskets or fewer. … Coming into the tournament, nine Tulsa players had combined for 197 3-pointers for an average of 6.8 3s per game, with Ebony Parker (51) leading the way. … The winner of Saturday's game advances to the semifinals at 5 p.m. Sunday against either No. 4 UCF or No. 5 Tulane. The championship game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday.
