Police: Waterford man stabbed, two charged with assault
Waterford — Two local residents have been charged with assault following a Monday "domestic disturbance" in which one of them ended up with a stab wound, according to police.
Jessica Calamari, 28, of 97 Bloomingdale Road, Quaker Hill, was charged with second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and risk of injury to a minor.
John Calamari, 29, of the same address was charged with third-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Police said they and members of the Waterford Fire Department responded to the residence, where a man reportedly had been stabbed, about 6:45 p.m. Monday.
Upon arrival, police said they learned the Calamaris had been fighting in front of a juvenile, and that John Calamari had received a stab wound to one of his arms.
Crews took John Calamari to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
Police said Jessica Calamari was held on a $25,000 bond.
John Calamari was released on a $10,000 nonsurety bond.
Information about when they are scheduled to appear in court wasn't immediately available.
