Make a Difference: Martin House

Who: Fifty-four adult men and women who currently call Martin House "home."

Agency: Martin House.

The situation: Martin House provides safe, affordable housing to 54 adult men and women who have experienced issues with mental health, addictions or homelessness. Each person has their own room, is provided with three nutritious meals per day and has the support of 24-hour staff on site.

What to give: The Martin House is trying to create memories in a way that keeps residents, staff and donors safe. Donations of $25 gift cards to Walmart or Stop & Shop are greatly appreciated.

To donate: Please drop off or mail cash, checks or gift cards to Martin House, 401 West Thames St., Bldg. 700, Norwich, CT 06360, or call Cara-Lynn Turner at (860) 889-6150. If dropping off, please call ahead to allow time for a staff member to come out to your car.
