Aubrey Rose Liguore, daughter of Gina and Joseph Liguore of Ledyard and Christopher Michael Allen, son of Rebecca and Michael Allen of New Milford were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 2017.

The ceremony was officiated by Deacon Douglas Hoffman at Saint Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church in Groton. The reception took place at Latitude 41 Restaurant at the Mystic Seaport.

Aubrey, a graduate of Ledyard High School, and Chris, a graduate of New Milford High School, met at the University of Connecticut through mutual friends in 2011. Exactly five years following their first date they got engaged at Eastern Point Beach on March 17, 2016.

Aubrey and Chris are both graduates of UConn. Aubrey is a registered nurse at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and recently received her MSN from Sacred Heart University. Chris is an executive team leader of logistics for Target Corporation. They reside in Clinton with their two corgis, Winston (pictured) and Arnold.
