    East Lyme — Children got to check out what it would be like to work heavy construction and other vehicles during the Touch a Truck event cosponsored by the Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut and the East Lyme Parks and Recreation Department on Saturday at McCook Point park in Niantic.

    Proceeds from the event benefit the work of the agency.
