Raising money for breast cancer research

Members of the Old Lyme Country Club Women’s Golf Association, along with club members from the tennis, swim club, and bridge player groups line up during the 10th annual Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation Benefit at the club house. This event included nine holes of golf, lunch, a silent auction and raffle. The foundation is a local non-profit which directs 100 percent of gross fundraising dollars to breast cancer research. This year more than 50 women participated in the event, which raised over $4,675. Last year, a similar event raised $4,240.
