Let’s go: Mini golf vs. cancer at Odetah

Hot shot (or not) miniature golfers will vie for prizes at the Sinking Holes for Cancer tournament from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21 at Odetah Camping Resort in Bozrah.

The annual event, organized by Hanover Congregational Church, will benefit the Dana-Farber Institute and The Jimmy Fund. Tickets for $10 entitle participants to not only a shot at local glory but a beverage, a bag of chips and a hot dog or hamburger. Prizes will be awarded for the lowest scores in four divisions.

Sprague Historical Society will be at the event with information about life in Sprague in days of yore.
