Needleman for senator in 33rd District

I would like to encourage the residents of Chester, Clinton, Colchester, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Deep River, Haddam, Lyme, Portland, Westbrook and Old Saybrook to vote for Norm Needleman for state senator of the 33rd District.

During his long tenure as Essex first selectman, Norm has brought Democrats and Republicans together, found consensus, solved problems and kept property taxes low without cutting services.

He’s got all the right priorities: Creating jobs. Balancing the state budget. Supporting education funding. Lowering taxes. Protecting women, families and children. Achieving gender pay equality. Caring for our seniors. Fighting the opioid epidemic. Improving our transportation infrastructure and utility companies.

Norm’s been unanimously endorsed by all 12 communities’ Democratic town committees, as well as the Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association of CT, NARAL Pro-Choice CT, the CT League of Conservation Voters, AFL-CIO CT, Moms Demand Action, AFSCME Council 4 and AFT Connecticut.

He’s a leader and a listener who believes in building consensus and working together to solve problems effectively.

    John Kiker, chairman, Lyme DTC
