UConn professor faces sexual misconduct probe
Hartford (AP) — University of Connecticut officials say they're cooperating with police investigations into sexual misconduct and child molestation allegations against a music professor.
UConn officials announced the investigations of professor Robert Miller on Monday morning.
Miller didn't return several phone messages left at his Mansfield home by The Associated Press. He was placed on administrative leave June 21 and barred from campus. He hasn't been charged with any crime.
Officials say a student told a faculty member that Miller had sex with UConn students, visited freshman dorms and provided drugs to students.
A state police search warrant for Miller's home also says five men allege Miller molested them when they were 10 to 13 years old. One accuser says he was molested in Fairfax County, Va., in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The other four allege Miller molested them at his home in 1992.
