He wants action, less talk from Rep. Urban

In her March 24 letter, "Urban asks that vote be placed in context," (March 24), Rep. Diana Urban states that her vote for HB 5021 (An Act Concerning Competitive Alcoholic Liquor Pricing and Hours of Operation for Permittees) was in support of a potential positive impact on a local micro-brewery. She felt the need to benefit one local constituent in Pawcatuck at the expense of a much larger group in her district: mom-and-pop liquor stores. Still, she admits that "from an economic perspective, Sunday sales are suspect."
I look forward to reading her new bill to repeal the suspect provisions of HB 5021.
