Marlborough — State police on Monday responded to state Route 2 for the report of a pedestrian walking on the highway and found a New London woman who had multiple drugs in her possession, according to police.

Cara L. Baril, 28, of 92 Truman St., Apt. 5, was charged Monday with possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of narcotics.

Police said troopers went to Exit 15 on the westbound side of Route 2 about 3:40 p.m. and found Baril. When they interviewed her, police said troopers determined she was in possession of narcotics.

Police searched Baril and allegedly found 2.8 grams of fentanyl, 3.5 grams of cocaine/crack cocaine, 7.2 grams of heroin, 1½ bundles of heroin, a needle and a crack pipe.

Released on a $10,000 bond, Baril is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 13.
