New London — Libraries in southeastern Connecticut have been holding a series of discussions about author Wally Lamb's books, all pegged to the release of his latest novel, "I'll Take You There." They wrap things up with a program at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Garde Arts Center's Oasis Room.

Lamb, who grew up in Norwich and taught at Norwich Free Academy, will talk about his works and answer questions from the crowd. He'll also sign books.

In "I'll Take You There," Felix Funicello, who was a fifth-grader in Lamb's "Wishin' and Hopin'," is now a 60-year-old film scholar who happens to lead a movie club at the Garde.

Tickets to Sunday's program are free, but attendees are asked to register by emailing jsigel@gardearts.org.

Comment threads are monitored for 48 hours after publication and then closed.
