Walk like the undead: Zombies roam NL tonight
New London - Be afraid. Be very afraid.
At 5:30 tonight, zombies will be taking over downtown in an homage to all things dead and Friday the Thirteenth superstitions.
Zombie wannabes can get made up 4-5:30 p.m. at Spirit Gallery, 207 Bank St. and participate in a walk down Bank Street to Hygienic Art Park.
Participants are encouraged to walk through the city in a "zombie-like" fashion and remain in character throughout the evening.
The Zombie Walk is part of the Friday Nights in the District initiative. Many business will stay open until 8 p.m. and special activities include a soy candle demonstration, free hot chocolate, make-your-own lip balm class and a play.
