Chris Covucci will serve as the campaign manager for Chris Coutu’s run for the 2nd District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Covucci previously served as the state field director for Tom Foley’s 2010 gubernatorial campaign and as campaign manager for Kieran Lalor’s 2008 congressional campaign in New York’s 19th District.

“This is an exciting step for the campaign as we gear up for 2012. Chris Covucci is a great fit for this campaign and brings the experience and energy that will help us win next November,” Coutu said in a press release.

“I’m proud to join the Coutu campaign. Chris has been a hard-charging voice for common sense in Hartford and I know he’s going to do the same thing in Washington,” Covucci said.
