Messina - Fox

Joe and Dedee Messina of Waterford, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Karryne Messina to Daniel Fox, son of Marilyn Lundin Fox of Raynham, Mass., and Peter Fox of Norwood, Mass.

Karryne, a 2003 graduate of Waterford High School, earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in elementary education from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. She is currently employed with the Dedham Public Schools in Dedham, Mass.

Dan, a 2002 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Mass., served as a corpsman for the U.S. Navy and was stationed with the First Marine Division. He is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran and is currently employed by the Department of Veteran's Affairs in Boston.

An August 2013 wedding is planned in New London.
