Firmin-Huffman

Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Huffman of East Granby announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Jean Huffman, to Michael Edward Firmin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Firmin Jr. of Waterford.

Miss Huffman, a graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Florida and Central Connecticut State University, is a clinician with United Community and Family Services in Norwich. Mr. Firmin graduated from the University of Connecticut and is employed with his family's automotive repair and towing business in East Lyme and also as a boatswain's mate, second class reservist, at the U.S. Coast Guard Station of New Haven.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 14, 2013.
