    Thursday, April 4: Sen. Art Linares Tours Centerbrook Biz

    Sen. Art Linares on Thursday will tour Nalas Engineering in Centerbrook. Sen. Linares is supporting several pro-business measures and gathering ideas from area employers on how to make Connecticut more business friendly.

    At 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, Sen. Art Linares will tour Nalas Engineering in Centerbrook, meeting with Nalas CEO and President Jerry Salan and speaking with employees.

    Nalas, located at 85 Westbrook Road, offers chemistry and chemical engineering expertise enabling the development and transition of safe, sustainable, robust and lowest-cost chemical processes. (www.nalasengineering.com)

    Sen. Linares is supporting several pro-business measures, including a bill to eliminate the state’s business entity tax, a bill to cancel a gas tax hike slated for July, and a bill which provides incentives for college and technical school graduates to establish a new business in the state. He serves on the legislature’s Commerce Committee.
