State police: Man in custody, charges pending against another in Montville armed home invasion
Montville – State police say one man is in custody and charges are pending against a second man in connection with an armed home invasion late Thursday at a home on Lake Drive in the Oakdale section of town.
One of the men involved in the alleged crime was injured by an occupant in the home and subsequently hospitalized, said Montville Resident State Trooper Sgt. Martin Martinez. His condition is unknown. There were no other reported injuries.
State police charged a second man with first-degree home invasion and first-degree robbery, Martinez said. Names of the two suspects have not been released.
Martinez said at least one of the suspects displayed a handgun during the robbery.
State police from Troop E in Montville have not released any further details of the incident.
