    MAYOR, LAWMAKERS PUSH CHICAGO CASINO

Chicago tourists are usually spotted on Michigan Avenue and around the Willis Tower. But if some lawmakers and Mayor Rahm Emanuel get their way, a casino will be on their agenda, too.

Trying to get a Chicago casino isn't new, but the latest proposal OK'd by the Illinois Senate is seen as the best chance yet. Gov. Pat Quinn has

    softened his stance. Emanuel says

    revenue will go to schools.

Still, there are lingering concerns about corruption. The bill proposes five casinos, including in Chicago. The city casino would have its own board, something experts say is unique among other urban casinos that report to state boards.
