Montville Town police make numerous arrests at checkpoint
Montville – Montville police made several arrests Friday at a sobriety checkpoint with assistance from Connecticut State Police and the Southeastern Connecticut Regional Traffic Enforcement Team
Patrick Flanagan, 22, of North Oxford, Mass., and Maxine M. Murphy, 20, of 225 Old Colchester Turnpike, East Haddam, were charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Police also made four arrests for possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana, three arrests for possession of drug paraphernalia and multiple arrests for motor vehicle violations, such as failure to wear a seat belt, driving with a suspended license and driving an unregistered motor vehicle. Names of those arrested on those charges were not available Saturday.
