Norwich — Norwich Court reopened, as planned, at 2:20 p.m. after it was evacuated because of a bomb threat, according to a sign on the door.
A small group of people were waiting outside for the court to reopen. No court business is typically done between 1 and 2 p.m.
The threat was reported at 1 p.m., state police said. State police were at the scene and are investigating the threat.
One woman said she was in civil court and was told to leave by marshals without an explanation.
