No one injured in house fire in Mystic

Old Mystic firefighters vent smoke and heat out of the roof as they battle a house fire at 154 Breezy Knoll Drive Wednesday morning. The fire was reported just before 10 a.m. with heavy fire showing from the rear of the home when the Old Mystic Fire Department arrived. The fire took roughly 15 minutes to knock down and caused heavy damage. The occupants got out safely, and no one was injured. The fire departments of Mystic and the Naval Submarine Base were called to the scene along with Mystic River Ambulance and the L+M Paramedics.
