Guilford High School Boys Soccer Team Design and Donate
The Guilford High School Soccer team’s 9 senior players designed hot pink shirts to raise money
for Breast Cancer awareness this October.
Designed by seniors Colin Brady and TJ Williams, the shirt was purchased by both the Boys and Girls Players, Coaches and others. On October 5th, both Boys and Girls teams played at home at GHS hosting Xavier and Mercy respectively and additional funds were raised during the games through the sale of baked goods. On November 4th,the seniors presented a check in the amount of in the amount $1,036.00 to Susan Frankenbach from the Closer to Free Fund to support the Breast Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven. The funds were given in Amy Stinton's name, wife of GHS Phys Ed teacher Regina Sullivan.
