Benghazi editorial betrayed a twisted liberal mindset
The Kansas City Star editorial published by The Day, "Sad Benghazi song," (Jan. 4), is typical of the liberal mindset. Those brave men defending and dying at the diplomatic mission on that day were begging for help, pleading to a government that was confused, cowardly and woefully unprepared. That government led by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and observed by President Obama left them to die on the streets of Benghazi.
The request for upgraded security are documented and they were refused or not acted on. In either case this administration's understanding the intelligence that was available was abysmal. The real issue is that the current government set the stage for the event, regardless of who attacked the diplomatic mission and killed these men.
