I both agree and disagree with David Collins' column, "Public should own NL's Union Station," (Jan. 8). I agree that Todd O'Donnell and Barbara Timken are to be commended on their loving restoration and maintenance of the Henry Hobson Richardson architectural gem and city showpiece. I disagree that the government should take over the Union Station given New London's inability to maintain it's own City Hall as outlined by Kathleen Edgecomb's article, "Finizio: No funding to fight City Hall mold."
