Parsekian to speak on Heritage Park
Penny Parsekian will talk about progress being seen in the Thames River Heritage Park initiative when she appears at a Groton Business Association meeting from 7:30 to 9 a.m. next Thursday at Avery Copp House, 154 Thames St. in Groton
Admission is free, as is a breakfast and local business updates. Parsekian, a consultant to the Avery Copp Museum, has overseen an initiative to develop a network of heritage organizations within the Thames River Valley and will outline efforts to make the area an attractive tourist destination.
