WHO: An elderly, disabled male resident

HIS SITUATION: Due to unfortunate circumstances, this resident lost his mattress and box spring. He is elderly and disabled with no local family. He lives on a fixed income, which does not allow for the purchase of necessary items. He currently has nothing to sleep on.
WHAT TO GIVE: Gift cards to BJ’s toward the purchase of a new full-size mattress, box springs and full-size bedding.
TO DONATE: Donations can be dropped off at the New London Housing Authority's main office at 78 Walden Ave. between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, contact Resident Service Coordinator Lindsey Addis at (860) 443-2851, extension 232.
