Man’s body found at former New London church
New London — Police are investigating the death of a 51-year-old man whose body was found near the Homeless Hospitality Center Monday morning.
The body was found at the back entrance of the former church next to the center building on State Pier Road about 8 a.m., according to Deputy Chief Peter Reichard.
Police do not think the death was a result of foul play, Reichard said.
The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of the man’s death.
