RISE joins Mystic restaurant club

RISE, a new breakfast and lunch restaurant at 10 Water St. in Mystic, will be launching at 8 a.m. Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce.

RISE, owned by Mystic native Melody Pere, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays. The restaurant features a menu with ingredients that are “scratch-made, mostly organic, locally sourced.”

Pere interned with Chef James Wayman at River Tavern in Chester, following him to the Oyster Club, where she had been for the past five years.
