Funeral home to host free document-shredding event
Norwich — Church & Allen Funeral Home, at 136 Sachem St., is holding a free community shred day on Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to noon.
People can bring unwanted personal documents to be destroyed to protect from identity theft, according to a news release announcing the event, which is co-sponsored by Dignity Memorial and Labenski Funeral Home.
