Norwich — Police are searching for a missing toddler who was last seen on Friday and is believed to be with his mother.

Norwich police issued a Silver Alert Saturday evening for Leland Wysoczynski, 2. The child is white and has brown hair and eyes, and is 3 feet tall. He is thought to be with his mother, Lindsey Wysoczynski. Police do not know what he was wearing.

City police confirmed that Lindsey Wysoczynski, 25, was one of four people arrested early Monday morning after police said they yelled racist epithets at a woman who tried to intervene in their attack on a man in the middle of Boswell Avenue in Norwich.

Anyone with information about the child should contact Norwich police by calling (860) 886-5561.
