Westerly Hospital medical staff will offer free monthly wellness checks

Westerly — Westerly Hospital medical staff will conduct free wellness checks once a month through December at Westerly's nonprofit Jonnycake Center at 23 Industrial Drive.

Beginning Thursday, hospital staff will do checkups and blood pressure screenings on a walk-in basis from 9 a.m. to noon on the second Thursday of each month.

The clinics will continue into the winter on Aug. 9, Sept. 13, Oct. 11, Nov. 8 and Dec. 13.
