Old Saybrook building reopened after investigation of package
Old Saybrook — A medical office building on Main Street was cordoned off with yellow police tape for several hours Friday morning following the report of a suspicious package Friday morning.
The Old Saybrook Police Department, state police and the FBI are investigating.
One of the tenants at 263 Main St. is the local Planned Parenthood office, though WTNH reported that the suspicious package was not sent to Planned Parenthood.
On Thursday, police said they "received a very detailed communication which included threatening the lives of our Police Officers." A suspect who police did not identify is in custody.
