    Remember, we were immigrants too

    They first came following the prey animals that provided the food, clothing and shelter to sustain life. Over many years these immigrants covered the land we now call the U.S.A. Later in our history came people seeking freedom from poverty, persecution, and a desire for a chance to make a better life. Some for adventure, and some, one step in front of the sheriff. There were also those who were given no choice. 

    Every single U.S. citizen owes a debt to an immigrant. The immigrant paid it forward, do we do less?
