Ed Cramer over at the New London Rotary wanted me to let y'all know he was taking a nap and forgot to arrange beers for Friday's Brewfest at the Beach. There's only going to be two quarts of Colt .45 and a mini-keg of Little King's Cream Ale.

Ed Cramer would never do such a thing. In fact, twice each year, Cramer somehow manages to outdo himself in terms of supplying Brewfest at the Beach with a stunning array of beers — including many from our local breweries — in a variety of styles. Probably the only countries not providing beers are the four countries that don't have beer.

And there's ever so much more: the Brewfest house band, Rhythm Method, is back; a summery, shoreline menu of hotdogs, chili and pizza will be on hand; and at the heart of all this greatness is that proceeds go to Camp Rotary, where so many New London middle school kids' lives have been enriched over the years.
