    New London Landmarks offers walking tour of Old Town Mill and Hodges Square Village

    New London — On June 16, New London Landmarks will offer a free walking tour of the Old Town Mill and Hodges Square Village.

    The walk will begin at 1 p.m. at the Old Town Mill, where James Diaz-Saavedra will offer a tour of the mill and present a short film on its history. From there, Don Presley and Tom Couser will lead tourgoers through nearby residential streets, discussing the area’s history including its indigenous people, John Winthrop Jr., Arthur Hodges, Winthrop Cove and more.

    The tour will last approximately an hour and a quarter and will end in Hodges Square, where the first Hodges Square Arts and Crafts Exhibit is running from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
