East Lyme's Black Point Beach Club closed to swimming

East Lyme — Swimming at the Black Point Beach Club has been restricted due to elevated bacterial counts sampled at the beach on Wednesday, June 19, Ledge Light Health District announced Friday.
Black Point Beach Club since has been posted closed, and swimming or wading in the waters is restricted until further notice.
The recent swimming closure at Highland Park in Ledyard has been lifted and that area is cleared for swimming.
