Montville native Aaron Meredith competes on 'Survivor'

The latest season of "Survivor" kicked off this week, and one of the contestants is Aaron Meredith, who grew up in Montville.

Meredith graduated from Montville High School in 2000 and then attended the Coast Guard Academy in New London, where he played football.

Meredith now lives in Warwick, R.I., where he co-owns Leanify Method Fitness, with gym locations in Warwick and Westerly.

On the TV show's website, he lists his hobbies as lifting, traveling and outdoor activities.

"Survivor" airs at 8 p.m. Wednesdays on CBS.
