Larry K. Porter, 42, of West Warwick, R.I., was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.

N'namdi N. Smart-Hutchinson, 18, of 23 Cedar St., Apt. B, Norwich, was charged Saturday with driving a motor vehicle under suspension, speeding, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, failure to obey stop sign, third-degree larceny and reckless endangerment.
