Trump flotilla stunt was a big waste
The Trump powerboat flotilla on the Mystic River on Sunday was disgusting! There was so much noise from horns and screaming that anyone trying to get anything done had a hard time even thinking straight. Events like that cause more community division, pitting neighbor against neighbor. The best I can say for it was that it was not violent, and I hope no one got hurt. What a waste of money, energy, and time. Guess the Republicans have nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon and, if that is what they call fun, I want no part of it.
I certainly hope that the Democrats have more class than to pull a stunt like that!

Looking for details to start his reprogramming
I did not vote for our president. I am sorry. Please forgive me. I am guilty of thinking for myself, but I do not want to be canceled. I need help. I saw on CNN (or was it MSNBC) that if I do not already despise former President Trump and every other Republican, I will need reprogramming before...
Ban Styrofoam use, help save environment

Troubled by Lamont's comments on proposed energy plant
Governor Lamont's choice of words on January 19 with respect to the proposed Killingly Energy Center 650-megawatt natural gas power plant were unfortunate. Slow permitting and "Playing some games?" Using the power of state government to abuse regulatory applicants and the public? His words...
For foam-free state, pass law now
Connecticut has the opportunity to be a national sustainability leader this legislative session. Polystyrene foam (Styrofoam) accounts for 30% of landfill waste. An item that is used for mere minutes then pollutes the environment for hundreds of years. I have been involved in green...
