East Lyme -- The school system reported Monday that there have been three more positive COVID-19 cases related to the school community.

This includes one case each at East Lyme High School, East Lyme Middle School and Flanders Elementary School. The affected people have been instructed to remain at home in self-isolation and provided with instructions to follow before returning to a school building.

The most recent day attended by the high school infected individual was Nov. 16, the middle school individual Nov. 10 and the Flanders individual Nov. 20.

The school has completed contact tracing for all three cases and anyone considered a close contact with the infected individual has been notified. East Lyme High School and East Lyme Middle School will continue with remote learning until Nov. 30. Flanders Elementary School will be open for staff and students on Tuesday.
